Leeanne Ivey
Accounts Assistant
About Leeanne
Leeanne started her career in law back in 2011 as a receptionist - though she’ll be the first to admit she wasn’t exactly a natural. Taking messages (or remembering who was even on the phone) wasn’t her strong point! But it turned out to be the start of something much bigger.
After being approached by the firm’s Finance Director, Leeanne made the move into accounts and instantly found her feet. She loved it so much that she enrolled in evening college after work to start her AAT qualifications - earning Levels 1, 2 and 3 to give her legal cashiering career the best possible start.
Since then, she’s worked in the legal industry, as well as in the motor industry and healthcare, but eventually found her way back to law - drawn to its fast-paced, always-changing environment and the challenge that comes with it.
Now an Accounts Assistant, Leeanne’s taken on a wide range of responsibilities over the years, including payroll, VAT returns, management accounts, and navigating two SDLT deadline changes.
That said, her favourite role is being “Mummy” to her two boys - definitely the most challenging but rewarding job of all.
