Woodstock Legal Services Co-Hosts Community Halloween Event on Haven Road!
At Woodstock Legal Services, community is at the heart of everything we do. On 31st October 2024, we were proud to co-host a truly special Halloween trick-or-treat event along Haven Road, alongside Luxe Florae, SuStudio, and a fantastic group of other local businesses.
This event was about much more than costumes and candy - it was about bringing people together, fostering a safe, welcoming space for families and children, and celebrating the vibrant spirit of our local community.
Over hundreds of visitors from Poole and the surrounding areas joined in the fun, filling the streets with laughter, joy, and spooky excitement.
Our goal was to create a safe and inclusive environment where children could enjoy the timeless tradition of trick-or-treating with peace of mind, knowing that they were in a friendly and secure setting. This event showcased the power of community and coming together to make something memorable happen.
We were also delighted to welcome Neil Duncan-Jordan, Labour MP for Poole, who shared his support for community-led events like this one.
As he noted, “Events like this show the strength and unity of our community. It’s inspiring to see so many families enjoying Halloween safely and so many local businesses eager to get involved.”
For us at Woodstock Legal Services, events like these are a reminder of why community matters so much. It’s about building connections, creating shared experiences, and nurturing a sense of belonging - values that we carry through in all aspects of our work and culture.
We’re incredibly grateful to the many local businesses that made this event possible by opening their doors and joining in the festivities. Their enthusiasm and support were a true testament to the caring, close-knit nature of the Haven Road community.
