About Louise
Louise is a highly experienced solicitor specialising in Employment law and Data Protection, with over 20 years of practical, commercially focused experience. She supports businesses across the UK and internationally, offering strategic advice on complex people and data issues.
Having trained as a commercial solicitor after studying law at Cardiff University, including time spent at a Manhattan law firm as part of her training, Lou began her legal career advising businesses. Finding her strength in helping organisations manage people and data issues, particularly where there are legal risks, international considerations, or complex situations involved.
Louise now works closely with UK and international businesses, in-house legal teams, and HR professionals, including those in regulated sectors such as events, pharmaceuticals, technology, and healthcare.
Her approach is practical and commercially focused, providing clear and actionable legal advice that helps clients manage risk and make informed decisions. Lou provides advice across the full spectrum of employment law- whether advising on outsourcing or TUPE in a business sale, handling complex disciplinary matters, or overseeing complex subject access requests, Louise is known for being collaborative, responsive, and straightforward.
When she’s not handling the legal complexities of employment and data protection, Lou likes to unwind by swimming or practicing yoga - her secret weapons for staying calm, focused, and ready for whatever comes next. At home, her spirited cocker spaniel, Bertie, and her cat, Oscar, keep her company and add plenty of character to everyday life.
