About Mariam
Mariam is a qualified and practising solicitor, specialising in property transactions in England and Wales. She initially qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive in August 2021 then received dual qualification and was admitted to the role as a Solicitor in January 2023. Mariam has been working in property for the whole of her legal career so far. Her pre and post-qualification experience spans just over a decade now, in all things transactional property.
She helps all sorts of individuals, families, partnerships, companies, estates and trusts. Anyone who needs help with a property transaction or management of their portfolio.
Mariam likes to use clear language when explaining anything “legal” and making sure her clients understand what she's saying, what it means for them and that she understand what they want to achieve. Clear, practical advice!
Mariam is a bit of a bookworm so she's usually found reading a book which is also how she relaxes. Otherwise, she spend a lot of time with family and friends filling the air with chatter and laughter.

"A refreshingly honest and friendly approach. Mariam has provided us with a comprehensive understanding of the complex nature of our new leases in words which we could understand. Her patient and friendly manner has shattered the stereotype of what we think of as stuffy lawyers. Her detailed knowledge and advice has clearly been invaluable to us and we remain very grateful to her”
“Mariam Luqman dealt with the sale of one of my properties. The sale was very complex due to the nature of the property (a very large multi-occupancy Grade II listed building). Mariam was very responsive, prompt, informative and efficient throughout.”
"Mariam Luqman was the solicitor handling my file and I highly recommend her as being pragmatic, responsive and understanding.”
