Woodstock wins Business Growth Award at the Modern Law Awards 2026

This business wasn’t built chasing awards - but this one matters.

Woodstock Legal Services has won the Business Growth Award at the
Modern Law Awards 2026, held at the Belfry in Sutton Coldfield - an evening that brings together some of the most forward-thinking firms and professionals across the UK legal sector.

We were also proud to see three of our consultants -
Becci Newton, Samantha Apsey, and Tamsin Ledger - shortlisted for Consultant of the Year, a reflection of the calibre that sits at the heart of our consultant community.

Growth, but on our terms

From day one, the focus has been clear: to create a firm where experienced lawyers are empowered to do their best work, supported by strong foundations, and focused on delivering high-quality legal advice.

Over the past year, that has meant continuing to strengthen our consultant community, investing behind the scenes in the infrastructure that keeps everything running smoothly, and making decisions with long-term sustainability in mind.

This award is a reflection of consistent, deliberate progress.

A recognition of the whole team

While awards often spotlight the front-facing success, this one belongs to far more than that.

Our journey is supported by a collective effort across the entire business; our consultants,
landlord and tenant team, paralegals, operations, marketing, accounts, and lawyer support. Every part of the firm plays a role in making Woodstock what it is.

Representing the firm on the evening were:
Ebony Newing, Carly Jermyn, Natasha Boyland, Coco Beverly,  Amy Hennicker, and Nina Bryan (L-R).

It’s important to us to have representatives from across the business at the ceremony to celebrate that success.

About the awards

The Modern Law Awards, established in 2013, celebrate excellence and innovation across the legal profession. Judged by a panel of respected industry leaders, they recognise firms and individuals who are shaping the future of legal services in the UK.

From our leadership team

Carly Jermyn, Managing Director, said:

“This award is a testament to what’s been built at Woodstock and the success that’s come from doing things differently. Creating an environment where experienced lawyers are properly supported and trusted to do their best work, naturally leads to a better experience for clients. The success of the firm has always been measured by the success of the individuals within it, and this award reflects that. I’m incredibly proud of the whole team and even more excited about where we’re heading next.”

Natasha Boyland, Director and Head of Risk & Operations, added:

“Behind any strong period of growth is the infrastructure that supports it. For us, that means well-structured support across the business and an environment that consistently upholds high standards of client care.

Making sure our lawyers can focus on their clients, with the right support around them, has always been the priority. That support spans the entire business and it’s what allows the firm to grow in a way that is both stable and sustainable. This award is a reflection of that.”

Looking ahead

There’s more to build, more to improve, and more great people to bring into the business.
