About Gurjit
Gurjit is our new Practice Lead at Woodstock Legal Services. Gurjit has over 12 years of experience in working in Residential Conveyancing.
Gurjit has a proven track record in managing a high volume of cases, ensuring legal compliance, and delivering efficient, risk-managed property transfers.
She is skilled in coordinating with solicitors, surveyors, lenders, and stakeholders to streamline the conveyancing process, resolve complex title issues, and ensure timely completions. Strong understanding of land registration procedures, due diligence, and regulatory requirements within the UK property market. She demonstrates exceptional leadership in managing conveyancing teams, improving operational processes, and maintaining high standards of client service.
Adept at mitigating legal and financial risks while maximising asset value and transaction efficiency. She is known for a detail-oriented approach, commercial awareness, and the ability to manage multiple transactions under pressure while maintaining accuracy and compliance.
Gurjit will support the consultants with technical queries, conduct file reviews and ensure compliance and quality across the team. She will provide expert guidance and oversight across all residential conveyancing matters (including sales, purchases, transfers of title, remortgages, lender work, and Building Safety Act considerations). She will act as the go-to expert for consultants and case handlers, ensuring consistent legal standards and timely progression of files.
Outside of work, Gurjit is a mother and enjoys spending her weekends doing fun activities with her daughter. She is very health-conscious and loves going to the gym. She also enjoys quality time with her family and friends.
