About Azhar
Azhar is a Consultant Solicitor with around 20 years of experience. He has worked in various firms ranging from a high street practice to a top 500 international firm, before setting up and running his own firm for over a decade, and then decided to work as a consultant.
He advises on all aspects of Commercial & Residential Property work as well as undertaking Landlord & Tenant (residential) and Immigration work. Azhar regularly acts for portfolio landlords and property owners, as well as individuals, small to medium-sized businesses, and commercial clients.
Azhar takes a relationship-led approach to his work, focusing on understanding each client’s objectives and tailoring his advice to their individual needs. He values long-term working relationships and prides himself on being practical, approachable, and responsive throughout the process.
Legal Specialisms
- Commercial Property - Azhar advises on all aspects of commercial property transactions and disputes, including the purchase and sale of freehold and leasehold properties, lease assignments, grants and surrenders, rent reviews, dilapidations disputes, option agreements, bridging loans, remortgages, and company sales or purchases as going concerns.
- Residential Property - He acts on a broad range of residential property matters, including freehold and leasehold purchases and sales, transfers of equity, remortgages, auction transactions, statutory and non-statutory lease extensions, lease variations by way of Deed of Variation, bridging finance, and grants of lease.
- Landlord & Tenant - Azhar regularly advises both landlords and tenants on possession proceedings, including Section 8 (rent arrears) and Section 21 accelerated possession claims. He also prepares tenancy agreements, management agreements, and advises on related landlord and tenant matters.
- Immigration -
Azhar undertakes a range of immigration work, including spouse visa entry clearance and extensions, indefinite leave to remain applications, family visitor visas, naturalisation and nationality applications, and related matters.
