About Kiranpreet

Kiranpreet, or Kiran as she is also known, is a Senior Compliance Associate at Woodstock Legal Services, where she supports the business in maintaining high standards of compliance, client care, and regulatory responsibility.

Kiran plays a role that is centred around helping teams work confidently, consistently, and in line with required processes and professional standards. She enjoys being part of a role that combines attention to detail, problem-solving, and practical support for colleagues and clients.

Kiran aims to bring a calm, approachable, and organised style to her work. Whether she is reviewing documentation, supporting internal processes, or helping colleagues/consultants with compliance queries, Kiran’s focus is on making sure matters are handled carefully, fairly, and efficiently.

Outside of work, Kiran likes to switch off by spending time with family and friends, cooking, and experimenting with new recipes - some more successful than others! She also spends a lot of time training her dog, Luna, who keeps her entertained and definitely keeps her on my toes.

Whether it’s going for a walk, trying to perfect a dish, or convincing Luna that listening is in fact part of the training process, Kiran enjoys anything that helps her unwind, reset, and bring a bit of fun into the day.

Responsibilities

Compliance Monitoring/Reviews - Kiran supports the monitoring and review of matters, processes, and internal procedures to help ensure that compliance standards are being met across the business. How she supports the team/clients: By identifying areas that may need attention and helping resolve issues early, Kiran supports the team in maintaining strong standards and delivering a reliable service to clients.

Supporting Policies and Procedures - Kiran assists with implementing and maintaining policies, procedures, and compliance guidance so that colleagues have clear information to follow. How she supports the team/clients: Clear processes help the team work consistently and confidently, which supports better outcomes for both the business and its clients.

Risk Awareness and Escalation - Kiran helps identify potential compliance risks and ensure that concerns are raised and addressed appropriately. How she supports the team/clients: By taking a proactive approach, she helps reduce risk, support informed decision-making, and contribute to a safe and responsible working environment.

Day-to-Day Compliance Support - Kiran provides practical compliance support to colleagues and consultants, helping answer queries and guide them through internal processes and requirements where needed. How she supports the team/clients: Kiran aims to be approachable and supportive, helping colleagues/ consultants feel confident in meeting their responsibilities while keeping client service at the centre of what we do.

Continuous Improvement - Kiran contributes to improving compliance processes by helping identify what works well and where procedures can be made clearer or more efficient. How she supports the team/clients: This supports a smoother working environment, reduces avoidable issues, and helps teams continue to deliver a professional and dependable service.
